About Me

Richard Oszust

I am an independent photographer living and working in New York City.
I attended the School of Visual Arts majoring in graphic design and photography. The East Village in the 1980s was a wonderful nexus of creativity where artists of all types came  together to create. I had the opportunity to exhibit my paintings and photographs in various downtown galleries and clubs at the time. During the nineties I worked as an art director and corporate graphic designer. More recently I was part of a group show at Howl Happening’s inaugural exhibit: “Secrets of the Great Pyramid,” and was profiled in the online art magazine OMEN curated by photographer Marcus Leatherdale.  As a Getty Images contributor,  my  photos can be seen in fashion editorial and entertainment advertising. Other exhibitions include ADArt at The Oculus/World Trade Center and a solo exhibit at the
Rotella Gallery, in Soho.
